Release: Aeris Körper Presents Online, Interactive Residency for Arts Week

Aeris Körper is excited to present an interactive, online residency in collaboration with additional members from surrounding arts communities. The residency will take place during Hamilton Arts Week, and is made possible by the generous support of the Hamilton Arts Council. Collaborating Dance Artists are Leilani Bowry, Mikaela Demers, Shannon Kitchings, Mayumi Lashbrook, and Hemantika Mahesh, Music by Debashis Sinha and Producer: Rose Hopkins with Choreography Led by Lisa Emmons.

For this project, Lisa Emmons will be creating a new work, Dangerous Vacancies, which leans into and looks at the vacant spaces left behind by those we love who leave us. This work isn’t going to be easy, and Aeris Körper would be honoured to incorporate your presence, voices and stories.

Aeris Körper invites audience members to witness, comment, share, interact, learn some choreography and join in on the creation process. Interaction will be more immediate on Zoom and we encourage guests to participate. We will also be streaming from the Aeris Körper’s Facebook page.

The event is FREE. Donations are welcome through Aeris Körper’s website.
